Is there an API that returns eBay Best Offer accepted prices?
Yes. Add bestOfferPrice=true to CompSniper's sold search (GET /v1/scrape). Sales that ended with an accepted Best Offer gain acceptedOfferPrice, the price the buyer actually paid, instead of only the asking price eBay shows. No extra cost, every plan, including 100 free requests a month.

On an accepted Best Offer, eBay keeps showing the asking price. If you average those prices, your comps run high. Across 9,500 US accepted Best Offer sales we checked between October 11 and 22, 2026, the accepted price was a median 14.2% below the listing price, and 31.8% below or more for the top tenth.
For trading cards, sneakers and collectibles, where Best Offer is common, that gap decides whether a buy is profitable.
Pending and unavailable prices
- found: the accepted price is in acceptedOfferPrice and is final.
- pending: not found yet. CompSniper keeps checking for up to 5 days. Look it up again with the free
GET /v1/best-offer-prices. - not_available: no accepted price will be returned, for example a sale not priced in US dollars.

Why does eBay show the wrong price on Best Offer sales?+
When a seller accepts a Best Offer, the sold listing keeps showing the original asking price with a strikethrough. The amount the buyer paid is usually lower, so averaging the shown prices overstates what the item is worth.

Across 9,500 US accepted Best Offer sales CompSniper checked between October 11 and 22, 2026, the accepted price was a median 14.2% below the listing price, and 31.8% below or more for the top tenth.
What if the accepted price is not available yet?+
The row says acceptedOfferPriceStatus: pending, and CompSniper keeps checking in the background for up to 5 days. Look it up again later for free with GET /v1/best-offer-prices, up to 100 item IDs per call. Rows that stay unavailable say not_available.
Which eBay sites does it cover?+
Accepted prices are returned for sales priced in US dollars on ebay.com. On other eBay sites, accepted-offer rows return not_available, and soldPrice stays the price eBay shows.
